Thoughts of Hadrian’s Wall – John White

JW sycamore blog

Today I sat and looked at the Sycamore Gap and felt the tremble of the Romans as they assembled their Great Wall. The weather was fine, sun high, some clouds. Rain wouldn’t matter. They say stones hold memories and these are released by rain. Come sit by the wall. In sunshine, feel the energy of the soldiers. In rain listen to their story. JW
